Hi! I’m Natalie, a queer, first generation Latina therapist with 8 years of experience working with LGBTQ folk who struggle with relationship issues, identity issues, and complex trauma.
I’m a warm, personable, and affirming therapist who welcomes people from all walks of life. I use my own intersectionality to better empathize with and understand the diverse experiences clients bring into the room. I’m collaborative and engaged—offering support while also gently challenging you when it can help you grow. My goal is to create a safe, empowering space where you feel understood, respected, and actively supported on your path forward.
I’m a person in long-term recovery, which means I’ve been substance-free since July 13th, 2016. My experiences with depression, anxiety, and self-medicating eventually became a substance use disorder—and ultimately led me to a deeper purpose in the counseling field. I understand the weight of isolation, low self-worth, and the struggle to feel “okay.” If you’re dealing with anxiety, self-image issues, substance use, relationship challenges, or overwhelming stress, I offer not just professional tools—but personal understanding. I can help you feel less alone.

I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work from New York University's Silver School of Social work. Prior to earning my master's degree, I studied Music Therapy and Psychology at Berklee College of Music. After finishing my undergraduate Degree at Berklee I worked as a Music Therapist at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and then worked for two years at an inpatient Psychiatric Hospital in LA. Working as a Music Therapist was fulfilling but left me feeling like I wanted to help get at the root of my client's trauma and have a deeper impact on their lives. After finishing my Master's I worked as a family therapist for a preventative program funded by Child Protective Services, I then transitioned to a group practice based in Brooklyn serving a diverse client caseload. I have now been working in private practice for over four years working primarily with women with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, perfectionism and body-image related issues.
